These Galaxy S22 Ultra concept images show the waterdrop camera design
These concept images come from Letsgodigital and Technizo Concept, and you can clearly see LG’s inspiration on the back. If the waterdrop camera design detail is to be believed, this is what the final product could look like. The phone has curved sides, and that goes for both its front and back. Those seem to be proportional, while the device’s top and bottom sides are completely flat. There are five cutouts on the back, plus an LED flash. All of those are aligned in two columns, while Samsung’s branding is also visible on the back of the device. The source shows us this Galaxy S22 Ultra concept in several color options, including black, white, and red. These are for illustrative purposes only, the same as the design you can see here.
The final product may resemble this concept design quite a bit
Samsung may actually release a phone that is really close to this concept, as far as the design is concerned. This concept is based on rumors and leaks, as already mentioned. The final product will almost certainly look like this from the front, the backplate still remains a slight mystery, due to the camera alignment. There are three possibilities at this moment. Samsung will either use this waterdrop camera design, a p-shaped camera island, or two separate camera islands on the back. The device is expected to arrive in either January or February next year. It seems like its launch timeframe is dependent on the Galaxy S21 FE, in a way. That device is rumored to arrive in January, and if that happens, the Galaxy S22 series will have to wait until February. If it doesn’t, the Galaxy S22 phones may arrive as soon as January. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the most powerful of them, needless to say. The device will have the most powerful camera setup on the back, and specs in general. It will also look a bit different than the Galaxy S22 and S22+.
