The Pixel 5a will have a rather large battery, and it may launch tomorrow
It seems like the Pixel 5a components are being sent to repair shops, which is why we’re seeing them now. If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll be able to check them out. These components pretty much prove the Pixel 5a will resemble the Pixel 4a 5G quite a bit. That’s what pretty much every leak that surfaced suggested. There will be some changes, though, for sure. For example, Google will exclude an audio jack. The Pixel 4a 5G features one, but the Pixel 5a does not. Also, the power / lock button will be ribbed this time around, which is interesting. As part of this leak, it’s reported that the Pixel 5a will feature a 4,680mAh battery. If that ends up being true, the Pixel 5a will have a larger battery than any of its siblings. That goes for every Pixel phones Google released to date.
The Pixel 5a will become available on August 26, it seems
The Pixel 5a is tipped to be released on August 26, but it may launch tomorrow. That is what the new report is claiming, that Google will launch the Pixel 5a on August 17. The phone will ship with the Snapdragon 765G SoC. That is the same processor that fuels the Pixel 4a 5G, and also the Pixel 5. It’s a mid-range processor from Qualcomm. A 6.4-inch fullHD+ display has been tipped as well, along with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone will allegedly launch in black color only, and it will be made out of polycarbonate. It will include the same main camera as the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, while it may also ship with the same ultrawide camera. We’ll see. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will, on the other hand, include new camera sensors.
