This information is coming from Yogesh Brar, a tipster. Do take it with a grain of salt, as he doesn’t have the best track record, though. Granted, he did not exactly confirm the two phones are coming in H2 2023.
The OnePlus 11 Pro & the company’s first foldable may launch in H2 2023
The tipster said the “OnePlus Pro” device is not happening “at least in H1 2023”, suggesting it may arrive in H2 2023. He added that “OnePlus will stick to a diversified lineup including Nord, T & R series”. In regards to the OnePlus’ foldable, the tipster said that the OnePlus Flip phone is on the cards. OPPO received a very positive response to its OPPO Find N2 Flip, which will launch in global markets in Q1 2023. He did not mention when that phone will launch, but it may also be scheduled for the second part of next year. That’s only a possibility, we’ll see what will actually happen. OnePlus does not have a single foldable device out on the market yet. The company has been rumored to release both a vertically-folding foldable, and a horizontally-folding one. None of those happened just yet.
OnePlus’ first foldable may resemble the OPPO Find N2 Flip
If a OnePlus clamshell foldable is coming, chances are it will resemble the OPPO N2 Flip quite a bit. Those two companies are sister companies, and they have been sharing the hardware in the past. If there’s any truth to these rumors, we’ll get more information in the coming months. Still, chances are that the OnePlus 11 Pro is not coming, as the OnePlus 11 is the OnePlus 11 Pro, essentially. The OnePlus 11T, on the other hand, may launch in H2 2023. I’d call this rumor sketchy, but we’ll see.
