Firstly, Samsung is promising up to an extra $100 trade-in credit on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 if you reserve the phone now. Additionally, you get 12 months of Samsung Care+ included with the purchase (up to a $155 value if purchased separately). Those who make a reservation will also receive an extra, special offer towards other Galaxy products during pre-order. If you go to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 reservation page, you’ll notice that the company is using a couple of random user comments to promote the upcoming foldable (via). Perhaps those are real comments about the current model, i.e. the Z Fold 2. “I never want a normal phone again,” says Twitter user @BowzerJoe. That’s some bold statement about the device. The other comment is from Reddit user flamo-damo who says, “This is the worst phone I’ve owned. People are always bothering me about it”. Samsung wants to tell the public that Fold owners get some extra attraction in the crowd. That’s how awesome this device is.

Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 will be the center of attraction at the next Unpacked

Along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, Samsung will also unveil two new Galaxy Watch models and a pair of TWS earbuds. But the two foldables will be the center of attraction at the upcoming Unpacked event. The devices are expected to bring tons of improvements to the company’s foldable lineup, both in terms of performance and durability. The Korean firm is pitching them as competitors to conventional candy-bar smartphones. It will also be the first time Samsung will launch new models in Fold and Flip series together. All four previous foldables – Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip, Z Flip 5G, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 – have come separately. Samsung sees foldable devices as the way forward for smartphones and it is going all-in early, even canceling the much-loved Galaxy Note series this year in favor of foldables. Time will tell if the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will get as much love, appreciation, and, buyers, of course, as the company has hoped for.
