OnePlus has had notable success with its cheaper phones. The company manages to squeeze a few premium features into a less expensive chassis. It even launched a Nord smartwatch that looks like a rather nice device.

The one plus Nord N300 will come with 33W fast charging

When it comes to budget-friendly phones, you can sometimes expect decent specs in some cases. Phones like the Galaxy A53 5G come with gorgeous displays and amazing speakers. Phones like the Google Pixel 6a come with a flagship processor and great software. However, the charging speed department is usually ignored. Enter, the OnePlus Nord N300! OnePlus company spokesperson, Spencer Blank, announced that the OnePlus Nord N300 will be coming to North America sometime next month, according to The Verge. Right now, we don’t know everything there is to know about this phone, but we do know enough to paint a good picture. Starting off, this phone will include 33W fast charging, which is insane for a phone in the budget market. This should come as no surprise, as one of Oneplus’ major selling points is its use of very fast charging. 33W is even faster than some flagship phones that are out on the market. As you can imagine, this could spell trouble for the battery over time. Super fast charging degrades batteries more over time.

What other specs does this phone have?

For the time being, we have only a few bits of information on the specs. First off, you know that this phone will use a MediaTek processor. This will be the first American OnePlus device to use one. Also, this phone is expected to have a 90Hz display. That’s a great feature to have on a phone that’s under $300. Other than that, information on this phone is rather scarce. If you are looking forward to this phone, then you won’t have too much time to wait. We are about halfway through October, and this phone is expected to launch next month.
